How do I burn a dvd made on Windows DVD Maker to a dvd?

I made a dvd with the program Windows DVD Maker, however everytime I put a DVD in my computer and click for it to burn my dvd it says it is encoding the dvd and acts like it is working, but when I go to watch the DVD nothing is on it.
