Majors for these two careers?

Marine biologist is more of a graduate level study, not undergrad - an undergrad major in it is pretty useless and doesn't include enough bio to get you into a grad program. Do NOT study any sort of science at Liberty; they're not teaching science. They're teaching creationism. They might talk about biology enough to get accredited, but they're also teaching you it's all wrong. Any degree from there would be useless for a scientist. You'd be better off at VA Tech. However, I really doubt forensic science is a major there (have you checked to see if they offer these? Most schools don't) since there are many fields that can lead to that.
