Has the Ireland of old gone?

I think that's probably an extreme form of it. I don't think we have changed as a people, but since the Celtic Tiger came along peoples attitudes have changed. Not necessarily bad, I just thank that perhaps at last we have joined the modern world while hopefully managing to retain our inherent charismatic charm. On the surface things are unrecognisable but scratch down a bit and we're still there - as quirky, poetic and charming as ever
