Desperate Housewives question?

What happened to Katherine's (dana delaney) daughter? I remember the season finale episode where her daughter and her were going to flee with Katherine's new husband from her daughter's biological father and he captured Katherine's husband, but then the season premier and on didn't show anything that happened next? Maybe I missed something?
